Day #17: An Art Piece

I am really not much of an art person, but two art pieces definitely strike my fancy.  One of them is the Last Supper by: Leonardo DaVinci ,and the other is Number One by: Jackson Pollock.  The latter is more of a random art piece, but it looks rather cool from my perspective.  For the Last Supper, I have no comment, because it is one of the greatest pieces of art ever created.  So without further ado, here are the pics of my two favorite art pieces:

Last Supper

Number One

Oh, "The Last Supper". That one is definitely the best out there. Such a great depiction of that day.
I don't think I have every heard of the other artist, but that is a rather neat picture. My brother says it looks like camo. ;)

Sarah,
I learned about Jackson Pollock in Art class and supposedly he died tragically in a car accident. The cause was because he drank too much. Not a good way to end your life. However, his paintings are rather interesting. This specific painting does look like a camo, which is the primary design of most of his paintings. I guess he seemed to have a knack for creating random designs. They do look cool though. :)

May,
Wow, that is pretty impressive. A recreation of DaVinci's "The Last Supper" using laundry lint. Unbelievable! Wow, wow, wow!

One great thing about art: We all see it from our own perspective!

Number One has always reminded me of the forest. Which I love because God's finger prints are all over nature (Romans 1). Thanks for the post!!!
