Final Posts of 2010 and Beyond

What will I write about to finish 2010? I am going to complete the Living Radically For Christ series, which I began in April of this year. Part 2 should be up by tomorrow evening if all goes according to plan. For all of you who are subscribed to my blog, in November, the introduction to that series somehow popped up in one of the e-mails. It popped up by mistake, because I wrote it nearly six months back. However, I think God was revealing to me that this series is rather important and that it would change many lives for His glory. I pray so and may God get all the glory. So with that said, if you, who are subscribed to my blog, have not read Part 1, read it here.

Now, I think you all are flexing your brains and are about to ask me why the hurry with all these blog posts in such a short time. You practically post only three times a month (ha ha ha ha ha, lol funny :)

#1 God deserves to be glorified.

#2 He has been placing it on my heart to finish the Living Radically For Christ series.

#3 I need to make a confession. 47 archival posts in 2010 will not cut it. A nice round number like 50 would make things a lot nicer. Now granted, five of the posts are not mine (the five in August when I was away on vacation), but 50 is 50. 55 is not 50. If you are a blogger, you know what I mean. You want to have your blog nicely organized. However, I may end up passing 50 once the year is out. =D

So, what posts will come up in 2011? I am seriously considering the 30 day blog challenge to begin the new year with a bang. 30 straight posts on 30 consecutive days. I have never ever done that before, but it should be rather challenging, fun, and exciting. Then, beginning in February, I have been praying about going through a Book of the Bible. Which Book you may ask? Well, I have narrowed my choices down to two little known about books in the NT, which happen to be Titus and Philemon. I am leaning more towards Philemon at this point, but I am not sure. I will definitely come to a decision by February. If any of you have a preference between the two books, I will be glad to take your preferences into consideration. Just know that God will trump any and all factors in the decision making process. :)

Sola Deo Gloria!!!!!!

*high five!* Looks like you have a good idea of what you want to post about for 2011. It all looks great! Yes and now thanks to you, I have to try to get to 125 posts instead of 121. Thank you for that. ;)

*gah* I just realized I wasn't following you -- and I really thought I was! Well I am now... Merry Christmas.

Are you going to traverse through the 30 day blog challenge as well to begin the New Year, May? I need someone to do it with. :) Also, my motto is to persevere to 50. If I somehow pass that mark, it will be a good year. Aim for the 125 mark May, but try with all endurance to pass it. :)

In Christ,
Joshua :)

Bleah,
No worries about not following me. I can handle it rather well. Merry Christmas to you as well. :)

In Christ,
Joshua :)

Well, yes of course I am going to "traverse" the 30 day blog challenge! I posted about it, remember? =] Oh and I'm not necessarily poking fun at the words you use.... because in all honesty, I use word-y words (<--example a) too, and my friends make fun of me. ;) Personally I think it adds flavor to life, sort of like a cook adding spices to their gourmet creations. Hmm... vibrant words are the spice of life? :D

Why do your friends make fun of you? As you said, vibrant words add spice to life. I completely agree with you 100 percent, and really, I find it amusing when people poke fun at my choice of words. :) So, don't feel too bad about it. ;) Also, I remember the post. I just did not know if you were going to do it at the beginning of the year or later on. We should team up and do it together. Maybe we could get a few other people to "traverse" the course of the challenge along with us. :D

Well thanks for the encouragement. There might be some hope for us walking dictionaries/thesauruses after all. :)
I was thinking of starting the challenge on the 1st of Jan. That might be fun--I can ask Bleah if she wants to do it and I think Emily Grace and Hannah both said they were interested. Maybe once you start, more people will join in on the "traversing." :)
