Book's I am Reading over the Summer

I love to read books and I wanted to share with you a few books that I will be reading this Summer.

The Cross of Christ By: John Stott
Spectacular Sins By: John Piper
The Vanishing Conscience By: John MacArthur
Systematic Theology By: Wayne Grudem (I am not reading the whole book at one time because it is over a thousand pages, but I will read at least a chapter every two weeks - I will finish the book in about two years).

The Book on Leadership By: John MacArthur
Quiet Strength By: Tony Dungy
Left Behind Series (The Kids) By: Tim Lahaye and Jerry B. Jenkins (Already read the whole series twice, but it is a fun, easy read)

That will probably be all the books that I will finish this summer, but I may finish more. Just depends on my time schedule. I will hopefully start some new blog series soon as well and I will finish up Pt. 7 to the Cross of Christ Series. I bet Josh has been waiting for that for a long time, but I will eventually complete it.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Joshua...with a reading list like that you are indeed continuing to put on the full armor of God.

I'm getting ready for BSF in the fall. This year we will be studying the book of John. So I ordered MacArthur's commentary on John.

Right now on the I-pod I'm listening to the 2007 national conference from Desiring God. It's is marvelous...and a real challenge.

Stay strong in the Lord my friend!

Okay. I am impressed (a little embarassed). I also like to read, but finding "spare" time to do it is entirely different. Nevertheless, I have no doubt that you will complete your book list and perhaps have some insights to share. =) In Christ,
Josh

Book on Leadership is awesome. That's great that you're reading it. Glad you enjoyed the conference! I actually ended up being called away for work, but I heard it was amazing, and I'm glad the sermons are available online.
