March Song of the Month: You Can Have Me

This was one of those songs that I happened to buy on I-tunes for 69 cents last month.  I try to go cheap as often as I can, because some of the songs on I-tunes now are a buck twenty-nine.  But, I have to say...... this song was a steal for 69 cents.  If you have ever heard of the band Sidewalk Prophets, you probably already know the ins and outs of this song.  However, this song is specifically aimed at surrendering our all to the Lord.  He can have us no matter the cost.  The bridge goes something like this, "I wanna be where you are, I'm runnin' into your arms, and I will never look back, so Jesus here is my heart."  But, the astounding thing is is that these guys play the bridge with maximum enthusiasm and passion.  It is a great song to listen too, but most of all the song displays the greatness of Christ in knowing Him as our sole purpose of giving all of ourselves to Him for the ultimate aim of magnifying Him with our lives (key word) as the one and only true King of the universe.  You will definitely be encouraged when you listen to this song.

The lyrics are a part of the video, so I won't add them to this post.

Sola Deo Gloria!!!

I got one of their albums entirely free because a friend gave it to me. And I love it. :D This song is amazing. :))

A couple friends and I are starting up a new website/blog for mainly girls living the set-apart life. But, we'd also love some warrior-poets there as well! So refreshing to see men like you who are passionate about their Savior! Blessings, Hannah Rose

I finally got a chance to listen to this.. SO glad I did. This is a beautiful song. I love it when the song writers really put in their heart and love for God in their songs in such a way that you feel moved with them. Thanks for sharing this. :) I definitely needed to hear this.

In Christ's Service,
Sarah
