Day #6: A Moment I Wish I Could Relive

I have to stick with one moment, not multiple moments.  We will be here for a long time if I wrote all those moments, so it is probably best that I choose one moment.  What is that moment?  Let's flashback to my life a year ago as a freshman in college.  I had the opportunity to spend time with Sean, my friend who died a month ago, about once a week to pray with him.  God opened the door wide open.  I began biking over to his house for the first few weeks.  During those times, I would play video games with him, study the Bible with him, and I would pray for him.  But, it only lasted a few weeks.  My schedule started piling up with schoolwork, homework, and working.  However, I did not return back to his home to pray with him.  I saw him only a few more times after that at our college group meetings, and that was the end of it.  He died a month ago, and I regret not taking a few minutes out of my day a week to travel over to his house and pray with him.  If there was one major moment in my life that God gave me the opportunity to relive, it would definitely be spending more quality time with Sean when I was wrapped up in college life.  It still is not an excuse though.  I missed an opportunity to glorify God, and that is final.  I wish I could relive this moment of my life again.

Hindsight is 20/20, no?

Yes, Hindsight is 20/20. This is not related to the post I can see. ;) Anywho, I would have replied sooner if I was not at Bible Study. Hope you have a great night. :)

Thanks for sharing, Joshua. I know it is really hard to look on the past and not wish for something different.. to not blame ourselves for things. Thank goodness we have the Lord to lean on!!

In Christ's Service,
Sarah

*insert deep and long-suffering sigh* Ok. I will explain. In hindsight, you regret not spending more time with your friend, right?
You said, "He died a month ago, and I regret not taking a few minutes out of my day a week to travel over to his house and pray with him."
Thus, hindsight is 20/20! (You know.... vision.... etc. I must argue that it is related to the post!!)

May,
Sorry. I thought you were solely asking me if hindsight was 20/20. I get it now. Thus, I appreciate the explanation.

Sarah,
Thanks for the encouragement. May God bless you. :)
