Did you know........ #8

This is sad. Did you know............................................................ a Barna poll survey revealed that one in four (25%) American adults who said they were born again also believed that Jesus sinned while He was on the earth?

When I read this, I was stunned. Number 1, these so-called born again believers really don't believe the truths that are posed in Scripture. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For our sake he made him to be sin WHO KNEW NO SIN, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." Hebrews also portrays that Christ was tempted in all aspects, yet WITHOUT SIN (Hebrews 4:15). Jesus Christ never sinned once and yet people don't believe the Bible. I guess they are using their own opinions to provide a logical answer, but to truly believe that Christ never sinned takes an act of God on our behalf. By faith, we need to completely depend on the Holy Spirit and believe that Christ never sinned once. TAKE SCRIPTURE AT IT'S WORD. It will never let you down.

Number 2, if these false gospel spreading believers truly believe that Christ sinned, the atonement is void. Everybody is going to hell. Do you remember Jesus' prayer in the garden? When Jesus was praying in complete agony in the garden, he asked the Father to please remove the cup of God's wrath from Him. On the other end of the prayer, there was complete silence, because there was no other way to save guilty sinners. If there was another way, God would have easily provided mankind with an alternative, but there was no other way. Think about this for a moment. If there was an alternative, don't you think God would have used the alternative rather than crushing, destroying, demolishing, lacerating, bruising, piercing HIS OWN SON on a cruel cross to redeem mankind back to Himself? I think so. False gospel spreading believers, I am calling them, need the alternative to be saved, redeemed, forgiven by God. There is no alternative. Since there is no alternative, they must believe that all are going to hell, because if Christ sinned ONLY ONE time, He is not the perfect, spotless Lamb of God, the Savior of all mankind. Rather, He is just some other good prophet, teacher, or leader, who died wickedly on a cruel cross for His sins. Sorry to burst your buttons, but that is complete blasphemy.

To end this post, Christ never sinned once. Scripture is totally clear about that fact (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15, 1 Peter 2:22). He is the only Savior of mankind, there is no alternative (Matthew 26:39, Mark 14:35-36, Luke 22:42-44, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, Titus 3:4-7). All praise to His glorious name, who loves us so much, even when we were dead in our trespasses and sins, He sent His Son, who humbled Himself, to pay our sin debt in full, that we may live with Him in heaven for eternity. Amen!

Sola Deo Gloria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great thoughts, and once again oddly paralleling my post (on false teachers).

Sadly, my guess is that one of four "Christians" also never read the Bible more than what they hear on Sunday, if even that.

Reading this brought this scripture to mind:

Matthew 13:15

For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.'

Thank you for logically disputing this error, Joshua. Wouldn't it be great if you could be standing at the exit poll to ask this question? It is so sad, isn't it?Keep up the great work,Joshua. This world needs young men like you on fire for the Lord!
Blessings,
Mrs. Regan

Great thoughts, Joshua! The reason Christ's death can serve as our atonement is because He didn't sin. Had he sinned even once on the earth, then He would've been getting what He deserved when He was crucified. Scripture is clear on the sinlessness of Christ, and we shouldn't question the Word of the Lord!
