I have also enjoyed this series as well. ...Camden,
I have also enjoyed this series as well. It has taken a lot of extra study, but it was well worth it. I can't wait to get into the Holiness of God. That study will be awe-striking. Thanks for the kind words and I am always encouraged by your blog posts as well.

In Christ,
Joshua :)Joshuahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14545552664313887986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118552671593227550.post-63920950929417198502010-01-24T19:51:25.115-08:002010-01-24T19:51:25.115-08:00I always thought that Propitiation ment that it wa...I always thought that Propitiation ment that it was one who took the just punishment from another.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01919870650590547999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118552671593227550.post-42491522236124530412010-01-18T21:23:13.342-08:002010-01-18T21:23:13.342-08:00Propitiation...is Jesus satisfying God's wrath...Propitiation...is Jesus satisfying God's wrath towards us for our sin. As it happens, this is my pastor's favorite word, so I hear a lot about it.

Propitiation is when wrath or punishment that is due towards one subject is absorbed or satisfied by another. This is what the entire Old Testament sacrifice system was based upon, and what Christ ultimately fufilled on the cross.

Keep teaching in the Lord!

CamdenCamdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01470713412584682896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-118552671593227550.post-45615265685179075052010-01-14T17:21:30.734-08:002010-01-14T17:21:30.734-08:00Jenna, JT, and Adam,
